From March 2020 Penzance Helicopters will offer a new air service from Penzance to the Isles of Scilly. This service will fly direct from the newly built Penzance Helipad to Tresco and St Mary’s heliports on the Isles of Scilly. This will re-instate an essential link for both local residents and tourists lost when the previous helicopter service closed in 2012. The heliport is in an excellent position for transport connections on the edge of Penzance . Close to the A30 and less than a mile from the rail station reached via a convenient electric shuttle bus link. The heliport’s sea level location offers excellent weather resilient air travel all year aboard the state-of-the-art AW139 helicopter.
