At Windsock Company we produce and supply premium windsocks using quality components and material. There are different materials out there to produce windsocks. The two main ones are nylon and polyester. All our windsocks are made out of polyester. It is the material that is mainly used in the industry and has taken over from nylon material. Although nylon is still used in some parts of the world, polyester is superior resistant to fading by UV. This is beneficial as usually windsocks are exposed to high levels of UV. Everything eventually fades however using polyester may help to extend the life cycle of windsocks.
Additional extras
In addition to the standard polyester we offer anti-static polyester material for hazardous atmospheres such as oil and gas platforms and petrochemical sites. We also can add anti-fraying material to the tail of the windsock. In some areas this may increase longevity of the windsock.
How much is a windsock
This is not an easy question to answer. The price of a windsock depends on the colour, material, fitting and size.
